Keeping Onondaga County Green!

Since 2005, the Onondaga County Soil & Water Conservation District offers a hydroseeding program to serve municipalities, farm and stream construction projects.
The District provides the seed, hydro-mulch with tactifier, fertilizer and labor force.The goal of the service is to provide municipalities, for public benefit, this critical portion of these soil disturbance projects (mainly road ditches) in a timely manner, thus stabilizing the area as quickly as possible.  The hydroseeding season typically runs from April 15th through October 15th.
